16 053 counterfeit Hermes handbags seized in SoCal ports
Customs officers protecting the U.S.hermes birkin 30 border seized more than 16,000 fake Hermes handbags that were shipped to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach from China.
Authorities said Thursday that 16,053 handbags came in nine different shipments between 6 June and 17 September .
The bags were the real items , they would have a retail value of over $ 210 million .

Although high-end fakes at swap meets and other questionable sites sold , authorities say they have nearly $ 300,000 from people who others think they were the fashion, luxury brand Hermes want to reach .
