Hermes is U.S. e-tailers in Europe to help break

  Hermes is looking for a German manufacturer specializing in the management of the supply chain for large retailers and brands to more U.S. retailers who want to gain from the sale in Europe. The company provides U.S. traders access to the European market over the logistics and fulfillment services that serve all the countries on the continent.

"Hermes is now in a position where our range of services to U.S. retailers of services, the supply and quality control, international transportation and warehousing, construction and home to offer including delivery," says Hanjo Schneider, CEO of Hermes Europe. "We believe that 740 million Europeans, 364 million use the Internet regularly looking for online shopping offers around the world."

Hermes was founded in 1972 as a package service from its parent company, Germany-based e-retailer Otto Group. Hermes has about 11,000 employees. It is also the parent company of 12 firms with offices in 22 countries around the world and uses a network of logistics and fulfillment partners in Europe and other countries worldwide. The seller, who had a turnover of 1.8 billion euros ($ 2.2 billion) for the fiscal year-end results in late May, the company is primarily in Europe, but now wants to expand international activities, said a spokesman Hermes.

Hermes has helped nearly 125 million QVC complete deliveries within Europe since 2004. QVC uses Hermes transport logistics, quality control and service delivery. QVC sells a TV, Internet, and since early 2012, mobile devices in Germany. The retailer has nearly 4,000 employees in Europe and around six million customers in Europe. It also operates two call centers and a logistics center in the country.

Hermes operates a platform within QVC distribution center in Warrington, Germany, said the QVC sends, there is more than 15 million packages per year to German customers, with a rate of about 11 000 an hour. Hermes also manages the delivery of QVC customers in Austria and Great Britain

Guthy-Renker, another customer in the U.S. retailer, which sells mainly Hermes, beauty care and spa products, operates a distribution center in the Netherlands, where he uses his Hermes ship products to customers in Germany and Austria.
