Hermes undertakes page Ardevora wholesale push UK
Hermes Fund Managers has appointed Rob Page as head of marketing and communications and the distribution of the four directors and trying to expand its presence in the UK.
The institutional manager who has just three UCITS funds of funds managers and discretionary multi-manager, Clive Selman of the Man Group hired as Business Development Manager to lead its wholesale business in the UK.
Mr. Page left Ardevora Asset Management founded earlier this week, after less than 18 months in the amount of retail sales for the shop of the former equity managers Jeremy Lang and Liontrust stars William Pattisson. He joins Hermes in September.
In addition to Mr. Page and Mr. Selman, Hermes has three new directors of business development for the direct distribution hired to wholesale and institutional markets in the U.S., the UK and Europe.
Hermes is owned by the BT Pension Scheme and £ 29.3bn under management. In April opened its £ 175.4m Hermes UK Small and Mid Cap Fund, £ 157.8m Hermes Japan Equity Fund and £ 122m Sourcecap Hermes European Alpha Fund for discretionary investors, as investment adviser revealed. The funds also share classes with a £ 1,000 minimum investment.
