Receiver Torrance Carr does not lose his passion for fashion
Some are great, some video games, rap, others want to hunt, fish and.
Torrance Carr, would be what is fashionable, but do not call it an unusual interest requirements. It is a passion that is evident on Saturday.
"I always go to fashionable and look good in my uniform," Carr, redshirt freshman wide receiver, said. "I want to dress, sleeves, wear socks in different colors. Everything keep going together makes."
Carr passion for fashion extends to its wide range of clothing.
"I never leave the house if you have something nice to have something designer," said Carr. "I try to be different."
What else makes Carr is not only his own sense of fashion, but to what extent it intends to take this passion of his.
"I love fashion so I'm a clothing line now," said Mr Carr. "I've been working on this since my freshman year of high school."
The clothing line is a young man, a name derived from secondary Carr few days called derived.
Carr and his friends saw a need in their school to help the chivalry and the young man, I get the message.
"We have always hung and I tried to talk the girl," said Carr. Decided "Everyone on call girls, but we have young gentleman (to the girls). Whenever I go somewhere, I try to open the doors to all the women I see, just a gentleman. We were all young, freshman and sophomores like, so we called the young people. "
It takes more than a catchy name for a clothing line, a fact not lost start with Carr. If he says he worked on young gentleman since high school, it does not mean he was sitting. An idea in his head for four years He put his ideas on paper, literally.
Carr has a sketchbook full of ideas for young people, not one of these laptops is on a single topic.
"It is quite thick, about the size of two laptops together," Carr said as his thumb and forefinger inches apart. "It's much the same with different types of labels. I had a lot of stuff in there, but shirts, tank tops, counter-pressure form the majority."
Young man reflects Carr personal fashion sense. He claimed no favorite brand, however, many influences.
"That might sound strange, but I'll get Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean and Kanye West and see what they are and then I'll get it," said Carr. "I am excited to try the new fashion, to see what all the world's door."
Carr did not have to look far to find a trading partner. Team-mate and friend Josh Stewart has expressed interest in cooperation with Carr. Both of them have already joined forces to make a basic jean jacket elegant.
"I bought a denim jacket and cut off the sleeves and we came up with ideas on how we want to bleach," says Carr. "We have cleared more and amortization with a small toothbrush. Then we bought some spray paint and put red designs on them."
Stewart said he wanted to do to maximize his own thing under the label of a young man on his contribution.
"If it's good, and he can put me where I can do my own thing (I join)," Stewart said. I'd do it myself, but if anything to be with him, he gets larger, it would be even better. "
With Stewart to make a name for himself on the football field this season, Carr plans to use to help, young Stewart notoriety at the beginning.
"We can both do our own things and come together," said Carr. "It is known to help it penetrate (the name of a young man) out there."
After graduation Carr plans to visit the Big Apple, make connections and put himself in the company with the best of the fashion world to take.
"I want to go to New York for college, and it is really with people," said Carr. "New York is where everyone goes for fashion and people spend their wages on the way there."
Meanwhile grows Carr notes and focus on football, but the smart money is on his sketchbook in the next three years.
"Fashion is my passion," says Carr. "That's what I love."
